1: Fees + Payment Terms + Bookings
All mediation services are offered by appointment only. We cannot guarantee a particular time or date however we will strive to accommodate the requirements of the Client.
Rachel Evenden Mediation’s fees will be in accordance with the published rates unless agreed otherwise. The Mediation Fee shall be payable by the Client(s) 24 hours before the scheduled mediation appointment. All bookings are subject to acceptance by us and we will confirm that the booking has been successful by telephone or email. We reserve the right to make any changes to the booking but will keep any changes to an absolute minimum. In the event that one or both Clients cannot attend a scheduled meeting, Rachel Evenden Mediation will endeavour to rearrange the appointment, however fees cannot be refunded if an alternative booking cannot be agreed with the Client.
Should any information provided change at any stage or be found to be incorrect, either deliberately of otherwise, we reserve the right to amend or cancel the booking. The return of any payments in this instance shall be at our sole discretion.
2: Indemnity
Rachel Evenden Mediation holds full indemnity insurance. Mediation is delivered without prejudice and mediators cannot be called upon as expert witnesses in a court of law. We will provide the Client with such information and recommendations in connection with the mediation service as they may reasonably require. We accept no responsibility for any actions taken or not taken as a result of such information or recommendations nor shall we be liable for any consequences should any professional advice not be taken.
3: Confidentiality + Data Protection
We respect and value your privacy and the security of your data. The mediation service is fully confidential and information which is supplied by the Client will be used only for the provision of the mediation service. No recording or transcript of the sessions will be made. Once the session is completed, a summary will be sent to you and no further copies will be available as all data and details will be deleted. We agree to comply with all applicable data protection legislation including, but not limited to, the Data Protection Act 2018 and any subsequent amendments to it.
4: Complaints
If you are not fully satisfied with the service of the mediator, you will contact Rachel Evenden Mediation in the first instance and every effort will be made to resolve the issue. If you do not receive a satisfactory response, complaint may be made to the mediator’s professional body.
